Maplewood Local Schools Information
Maplewood Township has an excellent school system. The Township knows that
a strong partnership between the schools and community is essential. The
school district is made up of four elementary schools, a middle school with
grades six through eight and a four-year high school. Maplewood parents, teachers
and school administrators work together to ensure that the community provides
its students with an excellent academic program. The Maplewood school district
stresses individualized instruction and a full spectrum of academic and extracurricular
activities.
Columbia High School, who has
consistently met the Middle States Association’s standards, offers
a full program of studies featuring twelve departments. Approximately 50.8
percent of the population 25 years and over are college graduates with one
or more degrees and 22 percent have a graduate or professional degree.
